In the early morning hours of September 26, 2006, 45-year-old Ben Peeples, also known as Benny, was last seen at his home in Oak Park, Michigan. He resided in the 8400 block of Colgate Street. At the time he went missing, Peeples was described as a Black male, 5'6" tall, and weighing 215 pounds. He had black, balding hair and brown eyes. Ben Peeples had several distinguishing physical characteristics. He had a small skin tag on his hip and a dark discoloration of the skin on the bridge and sides of his nose. He wore glasses with gold wire frames that were missing the nose tabs. On the day he vanished, he may have been wearing a short black leather jacket and white athletic shoes. He was also known to wear a large black Timex watch with a green face. The Oak Park Police Department is the investigating agency in Ben Peeples' case, with the case number 06-14670.
