Deborah Ann Quimby, a 13-year-old from Townsend, Massachusetts, was last seen on May 3, 1977. She left a note for her parents stating she was going to ride her bicycle to her grandparents' campsite on Vinton Pond Road, about four miles from her home. She promised to return later that day. Deborah was last seen by a friend who accompanied her partway, before she continued alone along Turnpike Road, but she never reached her destination.
