Frank Ray Santmyer Jr., a 24-year-old from Ellicott City, Maryland, was last seen on December 2, 1977. At the time of his disappearance, Santmyer was facing drug-related charges after being arrested with two other men at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport for possession of 10 ounces of cocaine. Despite being involved in legal trouble, Santmyer disappeared under suspicious circumstances, and authorities believe he may have been killed during a robbery, possibly in a shootout.
