Janet Landry Brice, aged 21, was last seen on August 15, 1982, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. That night, she was at a bar with friends when she encountered a man she claimed to know from school. After introducing him to her friends, she offered him a ride home. Brice first dropped off another friend and then headed toward Cedarcrest to take the man home, but she never returned to her own apartment.
