On June 25, 1983, 4-year-old Nyleen Kay Marshall disappeared during a family picnic in the Helena National Forest near Clancy, Montana. While playing near a creek with other children, she fell behind and was last seen sitting alone by the beaver dams. When the other children turned around, Nyleen was gone, sparking an extensive search. Despite efforts by local authorities, the FBI, and volunteers, no trace of her was found in the surrounding wilderness.
