Alyssa Herrera, a 15-year-old from Austin, Texas, was last seen on September 7, 2023. Her mother, Cyndi Roman, reported her missing after Alyssa left home around 2:30 p.m. and did not return. Alyssa had been enrolled in public school after being homeschooled the previous year, but she had been skipping classes. Cyndi confronted Alyssa about her absences, and the next day, Alyssa left home.
