Tinze Lucinda Huels, a 17-year-old from Tampa, Florida, was last seen on October 27, 1984. She left her home that day to go to a laundromat, but her car was later found abandoned at the Char-Pal Lounge parking lot. Inside the car were clean, folded laundry, but her keys were missing. Two weeks after her disappearance, her purse was discovered in the men’s restroom of a campground at Busch Gardens, with her cash, driver's license, and marriage certificate still inside.

At the time of her disappearance, Tinze was married and had two young children. Her family insisted that she would never have left them behind, particularly as she was planning her son's second birthday party. Investigators initially considered that she might have been a victim of serial killer Bobby Joe Long, who was active in the Tampa area around the same time. However, Long denied any involvement in her case. In a bizarre twist, a woman claiming to be Tinze contacted her family in 1992, but blood tests revealed her to be an imposter.

Despite extensive searches and investigations, including divers scouring local ponds, Tinze has never been found, and her case remains unsolved. Authorities suspect foul play, but no conclusive leads have emerged over the decades
