Tamara Joyce Jackson, 38, was last seen in Tampa, Florida on April 3, 2008. Her boyfriend discovered she was missing when he returned to their shared home on Ballast Point Boulevard at 5:00 p.m. from work. Jackson has not been seen or heard from since that day. Her boyfriend officially reported her missing to the authorities on April 7, four days after she was last seen.
Investigators found that Jackson had left behind several personal and essential items, including her dentures and her vehicle. A few days following her disappearance, Jackson's boyfriend attempted to take his own life. He was hospitalized but did not sustain serious injuries. Law enforcement has stated that they do not believe his suicide attempt was connected to her disappearance.
