Herlinda Ann Soto, a 43-year-old woman, was last seen on July 2, 1993, in El Paso, Texas. Her disappearance occurred under suspicious and violent circumstances. On that day, Herlinda's ex-husband, Ulises Soto, picked up their two young sons for the weekend. A friend spoke to Herlinda on the phone around 11:00 p.m., which was the last confirmed contact anyone had with her. When Ulises returned with the children on July 5, he found signs of a violent struggle in her home.
