Jesus De La Cruz, a 6-year-old boy from Lynn, Massachusetts, disappeared on September 28, 1996. He was last seen around 6:00 p.m., walking near his home on Park Street, pushing his broken pink Huffy bicycle. Witnesses reported that he was approached by a man who lured him away with the promise of a new bike. Jesus never returned home.
The man described by witnesses was later identified as Robert Levesque, a local resident.
He was seen with a dog that matched the description given by the children who saw Jesus last. Levesque was questioned by police and had a history of criminal offenses, including theft, but no charges were ever brought against him in connection to Jesus' disappearance. His apartment was searched, and investigators found suspicious items, but no conclusive evidence tied him to the crime.
Despite numerous searches and tips over the years, no significant leads have emerged, and Jesus has never been found. His case remains unsolved, and the FBI has released age-progression images in hopes of finding new information.
