Teresa Melissa Dean, an 11-year-old girl, disappeared on August 15, 1999, from her neighborhood in Macon, Georgia. She was last seen around 8:00 p.m. walking down Lawrence Drive near her family’s trailer, heading to a friend's house to look at some puppies. Despite an extensive search, Teresa was never seen again, and no clues to her whereabouts were found.
