Garfield James Meekins, an 80-year-old man from Baltimore, Maryland, was last seen on September 6, 1999. Meekins, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease and had a heart condition, left his home in the 800 block of Cooks Lane around 4:00 p.m. that day, intending to go to a nearby store. He never returned. He was driving a gold 1993 Honda Accord at the time of his disappearance.
