Michele Lyn Hundley Smith, a 38-year-old mother of three, disappeared on December 9, 2001, after leaving her home in Eden, North Carolina. She had told her family she was heading to Martinsville, Virginia, to go Christmas shopping but never returned. Smith was last seen driving her 1995 green Pontiac Trans Sport van with a distinctive vanity plate, "ROK-N-ON." Neither she nor her vehicle has ever been found.
