Virginia Lynne Beach, age 37, was last seen on October 17, 2000, in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Known to frequent the area of Fourth and Wright streets, Virginia struggled with addiction and was involved in prostitution. Her disappearance coincided with several other cases of missing women in the area, some of whom were later found murdered.
