In the community of Wilmington, North Carolina, the disappearance of 17-year-old Jaelyn Amandi McDonald prompted significant concern. She was a young Black female with black, medium-length hair and brown eyes. At the time she went missing, she stood at a height of five feet seven inches and weighed 170 pounds.
