In the summer of 2003, a young woman named Donna Rae Rigsby vanished from her hometown of Sylacauga, Alabama, leaving behind a mystery that has troubled her family and investigators for years. On the morning of June 28th, the 20-year-old left her mother's home on Old Birmingham Highway between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. Her destination was a P&D convenience store, just a few blocks away on Avondale Avenue, a short walk she presumably intended to be a brief errand.
