In the late spring of 2015, a 60-year-old woman named Lorene Ware, affectionately known by her nickname 'Pokie,' vanished from her life in Tuskegee, Alabama. On May 15th, she was seen leaving her home, walking toward a nearby convenience store. She was a familiar face in her community and was often seen walking in the downtown area.
