Sandra Mason Gann, 48, was last seen at approximately 5:00 a.m. on January 4, 2004, at her residence near Starke, Florida. Sandra's husband, Dwayne Edward Gann, reported that she left with an unknown person to go to work, but her family found this unusual since she typically drove herself and her personal items—such as her purse, keys, and driver’s license—were discovered on top of her own vehicle parked outside the house.
