Carol Lynn Roberts, an 18-year-old woman, was last seen on August 15, 1976, in Sanford, Florida. On the day of her disappearance, she left her home in the company of an unidentified white male, driving her yellow Chevrolet Corvette. A few days later, on August 19, 1976, the man she was with received a traffic citation in Blythe, California, though it is unclear whether Carol was still with him at that time.
