Marjorie Flewellin Wilson, age 66, was last seen on the evening of December 4, 1976, in Sanford, Florida. She and her husband were dining with friends at the Lake Monroe Inn when Marjorie began feeling unwell. Her husband escorted her to their car, a light yellow 1973 Chevrolet Impala, and left the motor running while he returned to the restaurant to finish their meal and pay the bill. When he returned just a few minutes later, both Marjorie and the car were gone.

Despite an extensive search, neither Marjorie nor the car has ever been found. At the time of her disappearance, Marjorie was wearing a lavender pantsuit, a peach blouse, and orange shoes, along with several pieces of jewelry, including a gold necklace and rings. Investigators suspect foul play, believing she may have been abducted. Her case remains unsolved, and no significant leads have surfaced over the years.

Authorities continue to suspect that the vehicle, which was never recovered, might have been involved in an accident or other suspicious circumstances, as blue paint scraped from another car was found in the parking lot. However, no definitive connection has been made. Marjorie’s case remains one of Florida’s enduring cold cases, with foul play strongly suspected.
