Bianca Piper, a 13-year-old from Foley, Missouri, went missing on March 10, 2005. On the evening of her disappearance, Bianca had an argument with her mother over household chores. As part of a therapeutic strategy suggested by her counselor to help manage her anger, Bianca requested to be dropped off about a mile from their home on McIntosh Hill Road, intending to walk back to cool down.
