Petra Muhammad, a 30-year-old woman from Highland Falls, New York, went missing under suspicious circumstances on January 6, 2006. At the time of her disappearance, Petra was in the midst of a contentious divorce from her estranged husband, Waheed Muhammad. She had expressed concerns about her safety to friends, fearing for her life. Her phone showed no activity after her disappearance, and her husband claimed she had left the country, a claim police found no evidence to support.
