John Spira, a 45-year-old businessman and blues musician, was last seen on February 23, 2007, in the Chicago suburb of West Chicago, Illinois. Spira co-owned Universal Cable Construction in the area and was last seen leaving his office that evening. His coworkers saw him around 7:00 p.m. before he was scheduled to meet a friend for dinner, but he never arrived at the restaurant. His vehicle, a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, was left behind at his office.
