Michael Alexander Reyes, born in April 2008, was just four months old when he was allegedly abducted by his non-custodial mother, Maria Belen Francesconi, on August 31, 2008. At the time, Francesconi had permission to take Michael from their home in Miami, Florida, to visit family in Argentina. However, she never returned to the U.S., violating the agreement made with Michael's father, Miguel Reyes.
