In the spring of 2009, concern began to grow for an 18-year-old woman from West Haven, Connecticut, named Amanda Ferro. She was last seen on May 22, 2009, and as days turned into weeks, her disappearance became a troubling mystery for her family and the local community. At the time she went missing, Amanda was described as a white female with red or auburn hair and brown eyes, standing at five feet, seven inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds.
