On December 17, 1962, three-year-old William “Billy” Jones was last seen playing outside his family home in Vineland, New Jersey, with his two-year-old sister. While their mother kept a watchful eye from the window, she briefly left to check on her younger child. When she returned, Billy’s sister was standing at the door, holding a plastic poinsettia, and stated that Billy had been taken by a man. This would mark the beginning of a decades-long mystery that remains unsolved to this day.
