Niki Diane Britten, a 15-year-old girl, disappeared from her home in Albany, Oregon, on July 16, 1969. At the time, she was living with her grandparents, who had legally adopted her after her parents' divorce. This decision was reportedly made to prevent Niki's allegedly abusive father from gaining custody.
