Carmen Lynn Pearcy, aged 47, was last seen on June 18, 2004, in Redding, California. She was driving her dark green Ford F-150 super cab pickup truck, heading to pick up her three grandchildren for a weekend visit from her son's home. However, she never arrived. Her truck was later found abandoned near Interstate 5, close to the Gillman Road exit in Tehama County.
A possible sighting of Carmen occurred the next day at a mission in Klamath Falls, Oregon, where a woman resembling her checked in, asking for food and to pray. The mission workers described her behavior as erratic, noting that she seemed "loopy" but did not stay overnight. She returned the next morning for breakfast but was not seen again after that.
Carmen’s case remains unsolved, with authorities suspecting she may have been experiencing a mental health crisis at the time of her disappearance. Despite efforts to locate her, there have been no significant leads, and her fate remains unknown.
