David Joseph Miera, a 2-year-old boy, was last seen on January 10, 1970, in Dixon, New Mexico. At the time of his disappearance, David was with his mother's boyfriend, Leon Zerfas, while David’s mother, Genevieve “Genie” Miera, was in Embudo Presbyterian Hospital giving birth to their daughter, Eelia. According to Zerfas, he was last seen outside the hospital with David, though the details surrounding their departure remain unclear.
