Bonita Bickwit, a 15-year-old girl from Brooklyn, New York, went missing on July 27, 1973, while attending the Summer Jam Festival in Watkins Glen, New York, with her boyfriend, 16-year-old Mitch Weiser. The two teenagers had hitchhiked to the concert, planning to attend the massive event, which drew over 600,000 people. They were last seen trying to hitchhike back home to Brooklyn near Narrowsburg, New York, along State Route 97 after the concert ended.
