Dontray Miguel Hunter, a 1-year-old boy from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, went missing on August 20, 1975. He was last seen playing with his older sister on the front porch of their family’s duplex near North 18th Street and West Locust Street. His mother was inside dressing their infant brother, preparing for a trip to the post office. When Dontray’s sister briefly went inside to use the bathroom, Dontray disappeared.
Despite extensive neighborhood searches and questioning of neighbors, family members, and others, no one reported seeing or hearing anything unusual. There were no witnesses to his disappearance, and police found no immediate suspects. At the time of his disappearance, Dontray was described as 3 feet tall, weighing about 30 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a birthmark on the back of his neck. He was wearing a white t-shirt, olive green pants, and white sneakers.
Although decades have passed, Dontray’s case remains open, and his family continues to hope for answers. An age-progressed image was released showing what he might look like as an adult, and authorities continue to ask for any information that might help resolve the case.Last Seen: Aug 20, 1975
