Billy Sena, an 11-year-old boy, disappeared on September 22, 1979, along with his 9-year-old cousin, Mary Lou Sena, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The two children were last seen in the Martineztown neighborhood near Edith Road and Mountain Road, where they had gone to visit the post office. They never returned home, and their whereabouts have remained a mystery ever since.
The case has perplexed investigators for decades, with theories ranging from abduction to accidental entrapment in a railcar. Some rumors suggested they may have been murdered and buried in the basement of a house in the area, though no conclusive evidence has ever supported this theory.
In 2011, a new lead emerged involving Michael Cordova, Billy's mother's boyfriend at the time of the disappearance. Cordova was allegedly involved in drug activities and had severely beaten Billy shortly before he and Mary Lou went missing, accusing him of stealing a marijuana plant. Cordova and another woman, Liza Ramirez, who also lived with the family, became persons of interest in the case. However, both have since disappeared, leaving the investigation at a standstill.
