Jeanne Scrima, a 44-year-old woman from Knox, New York, went missing on March 19, 1980, under suspicious circumstances. Jeanne was last seen that morning driving from Erie, Pennsylvania, to her residence in Knox. She had been staying in Erie with her boyfriend, John Sidney, and was planning to return home to meet with her estranged husband, John Scrima. Jeanne was in the midst of divorce proceedings and was supposed to meet with her attorney later that day but never arrived.
