Michael Ray Askren, a 17-year-old from Rosemead, California, disappeared under mysterious circumstances on August 6, 1981. He had just celebrated his birthday two days prior and lived with his grandparents due to his parents' separation. On the day of his disappearance, Michael left home at 6:00 p.m. with a friend.
