On a snowy day in February 1982, six-year-old Kelly Hollan Jr. disappeared from his front yard in the Pinetree Hollow area of Knott County, Kentucky. Due to a heavy snowstorm, school had been canceled, and Kelly, after repeatedly asking his mother, Judy Moore, was allowed to go outside and play around 11 a.m. He was dressed in a blue winter coat with a hood and blue jeans.
