Nicole Lynn Bryner, a 3-year-old girl from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was reported missing on March 11, 1982. Her mother, Melody Thomas Childs, initially told authorities that Nicole was abducted while sitting in a shopping cart at a Giant Eagle supermarket on the South Side of Pittsburgh.
