Leah Jean Van Schoick, a 17-year-old girl, was last seen on August 15, 1982, in Plantation, Florida. Originally from New Jersey, her family reported her missing after she stopped contacting them. At the time of her disappearance, Leah was living with a biker in Fort Lauderdale and working at a bar in Hallandale Beach. She was described as having blonde hair, hazel eyes, and notable marks, including a three-inch scar on her outer left thigh and a brown birthmark on the inside of her left knee.
