Amy Marie Matthews, a 24-year-old woman, disappeared on December 31, 1983, from Plymouth Township, Pennsylvania. On that day, she left her home to either walk or hitchhike to the Gordon Phillips School of Beauty Culture in Norristown, where she was a student. She never arrived at the school and has not been heard from since. Her personal belongings, such as bank accounts, remained untouched after her disappearance, raising suspicion of foul play.
