Dewey Spencer, a 79-year-old man, went missing on November 25, 1985, in Orlando, Florida. At the time of his disappearance, Spencer was living at the Orange Court Motor Lodge, where he had resided for 15 years. A retired county employee from Lexington, Kentucky, he had no known family. Spencer was known for his routine of taking daily walks and visiting SeaWorld, often traveling there by bus.
