Melissa McGuinn, only seven months old at the time of her disappearance, was last seen on March 6, 1988, in Trenton, New Jersey. On that day, a mentally disabled family friend named Wanda Faye Reed, who lived with Melissa's family, asked for permission to take the baby for a walk.
