Daniel Ray Turpin, a 26-year-old U.S. Air Force veteran, was last seen on July 28, 1989, in Lakewood, Washington. At the time, Daniel was temporarily living with his sister after leaving the military. On the day of his disappearance, it is believed that he may have attempted to swim across American Lake, a large body of water in the area. However, he was never seen again, and no trace of his body has ever been found, despite search efforts.
