Melanie Melanson, a 14-year-old girl from Woburn, Massachusetts, went missing on October 27, 1989, after attending a party with a group of friends in a wooded area near an industrial park close to the Woburn/Stoneham line. She was the youngest person at the gathering, and the last known people to see her were two boys, who later gave conflicting accounts about when and where they last saw her.
