In the summer of 1992, a sense of quiet concern began to unfold in the community of Murray, Kentucky, surrounding the disappearance of 39-year-old James Joe Poole. Known to his friends and family as Jim or Jimmy Joe, he was a familiar face in the area. On July 11, 1992, James was last seen riding his bicycle, reportedly heading towards Murray State University.
