In the winter of 1995, a 14-year-old girl named Jessica Ann Kinsey vanished, leaving her family and community in Union, Missouri, with decades of unanswered questions. On December 26, Jessica left her home to go to a friend's house. Later that day, she was picked up by 23-year-old Jimmy Hopkins, the son of one of her mother's friends.
