Andrew Thompson, aged 8, went missing on July 5, 1996, from his home in Chicago, Illinois, along with his family, including his brother Everett Jr., and parents Everett Sr. and Lydia. The family lived in the Chatham neighborhood, and their disappearance is believed to have involved foul play. Prior to the disappearance, tension had arisen due to the presence of Lydia’s brother, Kenneth White, who had recently been released from prison and was staying with the family.
