Starlette Vining, 39, was last seen in October 1998 in Presque Isle, Maine. She was working at Smythe's IGA at the time and was known as a reliable employee. However, she suddenly stopped showing up for work and left behind her last paycheck. Her family did not report her missing until 2006 due to her history of moving and losing contact for extended periods, though she had never been out of touch for this long.
