Richard Borrelli, a 49-year-old man, disappeared on April 9, 1999, from Carolina Beach, North Carolina. On the day he vanished, Borrelli, who lived at Neilson's Rest Home, spent time with his mother. However, he became upset when it was time to return to the care facility. He was last seen around 6:00 p.m. that evening, but never made it back to the rest home, and he has not been heard from since.
