Mario Antonio Mordoche, an 11-year-old boy, went missing from Miami, Florida, on August 28, 1999, along with his mother, Yakelin Llanes, and younger brother, Jonathan. The family was last seen as they prepared to drive to Tampa, Florida, in a rented brown 1999 Chevrolet Malibu with Florida plates. Yakelin reportedly intended to visit her ex-boyfriend, the father of her children, and she mentioned she would be returning with a new car.
