Monica Carrasco, a 16-year-old from Balmorhea, Texas, was last seen on October 1, 2003, at her aunt and uncle’s home. She was staying with them following a disagreement with her mother. On the night of her disappearance, Monica went to bed around 11 p.m. Her cousins checked on her at 1:30 a.m., and she was still asleep. However, by the morning of October 2, she was gone.
