In the autumn of 2007, 35-year-old Angie Denise Tucker, a mother of two, was living with her mother in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On the evening of November 3rd, she told her mother she was stepping out to buy cigarettes and never returned. Angie was a dedicated parent and a reliable employee at the Oklahoma State University Medical Center, making her sudden disappearance highly uncharacteristic. She did not own a vehicle at the time she went missing. Concerns for her welfare grew when she failed to show up for work for several days, prompting her co-workers to report her missing. At the time of her disappearance, Angie was described as an African American female, approximately 5'5" to 5'6" tall, and weighing around 150 to 155 pounds. She had black hair that was tinted burgundy and brown eyes. She also had a gold tooth and walked with a slight limp. The circumstances surrounding Angie's disappearance were troubling to investigators. Nearly a month before she vanished, Angie had accused her former boyfriend of a violent crime. She had reported that he had broken into her apartment and assaulted her. Following this, he was arrested, and Angie obtained a restraining order against him. He was released on bond the same day. Angie disappeared shortly before she was scheduled to testify against him in court, which led to the charges being dropped due to a lack of evidence. This individual was considered a person of interest in her disappearance but maintained his innocence and denied any knowledge of her whereabouts. The investigation into Angie's case pointed towards the possibility of foul play. Years later, the person of interest in Angie's disappearance was involved in another violent crime. In February 2010, he was charged with multiple felonies, including kidnapping and assault, in an unrelated case. In April 2011, after a standoff with police while holding his ex-girlfriend's daughter hostage, he took his own life. Despite this development, the investigation into what happened to Angie Tucker continued. Her case remains an unsolved missing persons case, a source of ongoing pain and uncertainty for her family who are still seeking answers. The Tulsa Police Department continues to list her as a missing person and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
